uchidaUnderhanded Trick?

Hi there, it's Uchida.

It must be the time...the summer break has finished all over the country, and a new semester's begun.
At night, I hear, not the buzzing of cicadas, but the singing of bugs like crickets.
A long long summer break is a distant memory since it's been such a long time that Uchida became a member of society.
I wish I could take a long break like a month, which would be for the first time in years.
But I sense that, if I had a long break, I would definitely lose my work position when I returned. (sweat)

As for the national tournament of Wangan Maxi 3DX, the area qualifying tournaments in all the areas have finished. Only the final at Makuhari Messe is now left.
Uchida went to see the area qualifying tournament in Fukuoka, too. Although it was only the area qualifying tournament, it had heated battles like those that will surely take place in the final. These battles assured more heated battles in the final, and I'm already looking forward to seeing them.


Well, in this issue, I'd like to answer several questions I found from opinions in the Opinion Box.

Q:
There are players who are marked as "Ultimate Rival"when I select an opponent in Ghost Versus Battle Mode. What is the criterion to have this "Ultimate Rival"?

A:
The "Ultimate Rival"mark in Ghost Versus Battle Mode is displayed when the total number of tuning gauges is higher than your car by 6 or more.
When a ghost is displayed randomly, it is marked to indicate there is too much power difference and indicate "this player is strong."
Also, for "top player"(with a crown), the mark "Ultimate Rival"is displayed without preconditions.
Please use this mark as a reference when you select an opponent in Ghost Versus Battle Mode.




Q:
Aren't there any underhanded tricks?

A:
Gosh, this is such an abstract question. Here is an underhanded trick.
This trick has been available in Wangan Maxi 3DX and the earlier Wangan Maxi series. In the screen for selecting a course in Time Attack Mode,



when you select a course pressing "View change button"(green square button), you can drive a course in which a yellow car, appearing in Story Mode and others, is running.
Use this when you want to practice sneaking through a yellow car or on other occasions.
