The temperature is falling every day and the leaves are disappearing from the trees around the Future Lab - all signs that winter is fast approaching.

This season is not a time to relax, what with the mountain roads being frozen over here and there - sometimes I think that even people who live in places where the roads are snowed over might feel that its easier to drive where they live.

Anyway...

I'm sure lots of you have been waiting to hear details about what card data you'll be able to transfer from Wangan Maxi 3 to Wangan Maxi 3DX.

OK, just to recap -

• TA Registration
• Title (becomes "Wangan Beginner")

These two will be reset upon transfer.

The data you can transfer intact is as follows:

• layer name
• Car Type
• Body Color (the body colors you got when you renewed the card will also be transferred)
• Power/Handling Tuning Status
• Dress-up Status (your dress-up parts data will also be transferred intact)
• VS Player Battle Record and Outruns
• Ghost Versus Battle Record and Outruns
• Levels cleared in 10 Outrun Mode
• Mileage

If you have any special items, they will be transferred intact.

The transferable data that varies from person-to-person is as follows.

• Episodes completed in Story Mode (progress) Data for players who have completed fewer than 80 episodes will be transferred intact.
  For example:
  Cleared 50 episodes → start from Episode 50 Players who have completed up to Episode 80 or further will begin on the same lap at Episode 81.
  
  For example:
  Completed Episode 80 (lap 2) → start from lap 2 of Episode 81 (181)
  Completed Episode 159 (lap 2) → start from lap 2 of Episode 81 (181)
  Completed Episode 160 (lap 3) → start from lap 3 of Episode 81 (281)
  Completed Episode 239 (lap 3) → start from lap 3 of Episode 81 (281)
  Completed Episode 239 (lap 4) → start from lap 4 of Episode 81 (381)
  
• Undefeated/defeated status in Story Mode → all players become "Undefeated"
• Level → Level data will usually be transferred intact, but may vary up or down by one level depending on how many episodes you have cleared in Story Mode.
